How I Partner with You

My job is to partner with you to expand your vision of what is possible in your life and help you design and implement an enjoyable and easy-to-follow roadmap to get there.

I both cheerlead and challenge you. I help you to tap into your motivation for change, take courageous steps toward your goals, and celebrate every win you have along the way.

My clients consistently tell me that the most significant thing I do is help them see things from another perspective. We often don’t get a say in what life serves up, but we do have a choice in how we perceive what happens to us and how we will respond to it.

As your coach, I commit to helping you change the way you view yourself and the circumstances in your life. Because a shift in perspective can change everything, creating more ease and exciting new possibilities.

I will also provide you with practical, evidence-based tools and

strategies to assist you in making the changes you desire in your life.

I am a national board-certified coach by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) with a PhD in clinical psychology from Yale University. Although I will function as your coach and not your therapist, our work benefits from the extensive clinical training and experience I’ve had as a licensed psychologist.

I use my clinical expertise in the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to inform the work we do shifting perspectives and upgrading limiting thought patterns and unhelpful behaviors. I also integrate my training in mind-body practices (e.g., mindfulness, meditation, guided imagery, journaling), attachment styles, trauma and post-traumatic growth, spiritual and existential issues, and behavioral change theories.

Ultimately, coaching is a partnership that

puts you back in the driver’s seat of your life where you belong.

What Coaching with Me will Look Like:

My individual coaching program includes 3 months of weekly individual sessions. After working with clients (therapy/coaching) for over twenty years, I have found that engaging in “the work” for at least 3 months ensures that you are able to make real, lasting change in your life. Weekly sessions help you to keep your momentum and stay actively involved in the change process.

There are two ways to work with me as your coach. One is through personalized, individual coaching sessions. The other is in community with like-minded people through group coaching. To learn more about my group coaching programs, click here.
