If you live in Maryland and would like to work with me in a face-to-face capacity, I provide psychotherapy for individuals (ages 12 and up) and couples through Safe Harbor Behavioral Counseling.
My clinical practice focuses on utilizing the connection between mind, body, and spirit to improve health and obtain optimal well-being. I am passionate about helping you achieve your health-related goals and live a balanced, joyful life. We can work together to improve your mood and energy, up-level your relationships, reduce stress, resolve trauma, effectively manage anxiety, situational depression, and life adjustments, address spiritual/existential issues, better cope with illness, improve sleep, lose weight, reduce compulsive eating, and improve overall quality of life.
My clinical orientation is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and my expertise is in integrating religion/spirituality into psychotherapy. I have a holistic approach to treatment and include mind-body stress reduction (e.g., meditation, guided imagery, mindfulness, and progressive muscle relaxation), behavioral change for healthy lifestyles, mindful eating, and motivational interviewing. I am also certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy to treat PTSD.
Psychotherapy appointments are 50 minutes in length.
